Demonstration Projects
The Campaign is firmly committed to conducting and implementing its research in the field by testing and adopting it in communities, families and schools through studies and programs that have the potential to become national models for replication.
One of The Campaign's initial demonstration projects in progress is the TC Education Zone Partnership (TC EdZone ). Together with IUME, the TC EdZone is working in Harlem, Northern Manhattan and the South Bronx to narrow the achievement gap and bring comprehensive educational equity to scale. The TC Reading Buddies Program, the Saturday Mathematics and Art Program, and the Social Work Interns (SWI) Program are just a few of the many innovative programs that are underway at the TC EdZone.
The Campaign intends to develop further research, demonstration and evaluation projects that will address how a comprehensive approach to educational equity can substantially reduce achievement gaps and improve education.
